In 2004 the artist was commissioned by John Deere to paint a mural at the Seeding Division (1400 River Drive, Moline, Illinois). This acrylic 40' x 20' mural depicts the evolution of the seeder through the time period of Deere's first self scouring plow in Grande Detour (in the far distance) to the current seeders made in the factory today (in the foreground). Each plain represents approximately a decade of development in the history of planting for John Deere and the farmers who use their quality machines.
